Mother and Daughter Crafting with Cherie

I used the stamp set 'Glass Blooms' from this months Bloom Box.  Really lovin these Bloom boxes so far.  Here are some pictures of my card: A little sponging, layering, masking, Fusion Blender, re-inkers, Journey Glaze and Journey Sparkle Cuts.  Wow, that was a mouthful!  Really lovin this card. I hope you can see the sparkle on the wings and I cut around the wings on the edge of the card.. Having so much fun playing with my new Fun Stampers Journey toys. Happy Stampin!  :-)

Toni and I stamped, talked and stamped some more all day long.  We were working on the February 2016 Bloom box.  Love, love this and love some more.  Richard Garay, President and Co-Founder of Fun Stampers Journey is so very creative and has some very fun and exciting ideas.  So much fun to learn new techniques, use new products and push outside the box.  Here are some pictures of our handy work. Showcasing the 'Stained Glass' technique.  Lot of stamping, coloring and sparkle! We stamped the background then covered with this black striped vellum.  Put our stained glass flower on top of the black circle and added some glitz with Journey Sparkle Cuts. See that background:  That is not designer paper.  We made it.  Fun to do!  We simply put ink on the stamping block;  inked up the bottom of the re-inker and stamped!  Voila.... This one we used the rectangular Thin Metal Die. Same technique for the background but added these wonderful Dragon Flies!
