April Bloom Box Plus one Bonus

Is this cute or what?!!  Great for kids or Adults (Big kids) alike.  Do you see the sunburst?  I thought that was a stamp at first, but it isn't.  It is a technique you use with your ink pad.  You get all the card stock, embellishments and full size red rubber stamp.  Along with a color directions book with added techniques such as the sunburst.  You just add your ink and adhesives.  Below is a added bonus card to this months Bloom Box: CASEd from Krista Orr Would you like to see Richard's video?  Look below: Have fun and happy stampin!      :-)

Trust The Lord - To my young prayer friend

To my young prayer friend:  I used FSJ stamp set 'Trust The Lord' (SS-0365)  Love how this card turned out!  It has sheen from the Gold Pan Pastels and a shine from the journey glaze, but is hard to capture on camera.  Below is another shot in which I tried to capture it. You can see some of the glaze on the rays, but I still couldn't get the sheen from the Gold Pan Pastels.  Really awesome card in which I got the idea from Richard Garay.  Also the background technique was so cool - also from Richard Garay.  I used Pumpkin Bread Pan Pastel and sponged it on the entire card stock, stamped the background stamp with VersaMark and embossed.  I added a bow with our twine and ta da!!  Happy Stampin!  :-)   Till next time Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding Proverbs 3:5
