Trust The Lord - To my young prayer friend

To my young prayer friend:  I used FSJ stamp set 'Trust The Lord' (SS-0365)  Love how this card turned out!  It has sheen from the Gold Pan Pastels and a shine from the journey glaze, but is hard to capture on camera.  Below is another shot in which I tried to capture it.

You can see some of the glaze on the rays, but I still couldn't get the sheen from the Gold Pan Pastels.  Really awesome card in which I got the idea from Richard Garay.  Also the background technique was so cool - also from Richard Garay.  I used Pumpkin Bread Pan Pastel and sponged it on the entire card stock, stamped the background stamp with VersaMark and embossed.  I added a bow with our twine and ta da!!
