Pumpkins In July

I have two different designs to show you today on one pumpkin That I cut out on my scroll saw!

All ready for Halloween!  Here are the steps I took:

After I cut this out on my scroll saw, I painted with chalk paint.  Then I used our transfer 'Houndstooth' with Shimmer Gold chalk paste.

Then I sanded to distress the design.

This is the transfer that I used 'Houndstooth'
Then I just decorated it with our Font
transfer for the 'BOO!' and ghosts.  So fun

Now I wanted something more for fall and thanksgiving so:

I did this by going over the orange painted pumpkin with a white wash to give it dimension.  Then..........

I used this awesome transfer 'Modern Floral' and chalked it with Papaya chalk paste.

So which one do you like?

Or

My how to video!

And:

And if you don't have a scroll saw to cut this out, check out Chalk Couture, it has some cut-outs of pumpkins and Trees.  They are 1" thick wood.  Keep watching......
