Here comes Peter Cotton Tail πŸ‡ hopping down the bunny trail. Hippity hoppity, Easter's on its way 🐰

Such a cutie, right⁉️  Is Cottontail a he or a she?  Don't know so for todays post Peter is a he😊  We all need a little cuteness right now right? So what do you do when you are confined to your house? - Craft of courseπŸ˜‰πŸ˜

Easter ✞

Getting ready for Easter❣️ I used transfers 'Celtic Cross'. Walk by Faith & 'Cottontail Farm' The colors I used are Bark, Greige, Bright White, Meadow, Peony & Daffodil. Technique:  Water Color & Layers
This is a great way to occupy your time inside.  Makes everything cheerful and productive 😊
With Layering, make sure your first layer is dry before you add your second layer.  And fuzz, fuzz, fuzz with a towel or shirt just so you can remove some of the sticky to not pull up the chalk on the first layer.
Watercolor - just choose what colors you want, take a small scoop and put on a tray.  Add some water and mix.  Apply light watered down layers with a brush.  When dry you can add another layer to the parts you want to make darker.  You do not have to color in every space πŸ˜‰

My Oh So Cute Wooden Houses❣️πŸ˜πŸ”ΈπŸšπŸ”ΈπŸ πŸ”ΈπŸ‘

I love these❗️What do you think⁉️ My husband cut these out + the roofs and then stained them.  Next I painted and distressed the edges and corners by sanding and rubbing the paint off.  You can also distress by putting vaseline where you want to distress it.  Paint won't stick to it.  So just rub it off and voila - distressed😊  Then we waxed it.  These houses are 5 x 7 and 1 " thick.  If you don't have someone to cut these out for you, Chalk Couture sells these cut-outs πŸ˜‰  Just check links below to my website 😊 Finally I had the fun part - I chalked it‼️
