First Communion

Someone special, our Grandson Brody is going to take his first communion on Christmas Eve.  I wanted to make him a card especially for him.  I used a retired stamp, Crosses of Hope.  I am really happy the way it turned out.  Here are some pictures. And ...... up close and personal A handmade card for a special occasion! :-) The recipient of the card above.  Here is Brody with his sister Sydni after his First Communion!  Sydni took her first communion on Christmas Eve two years ago. Mom and Dad (Scott and Toni) joined Brody and Sydni for a great family picture.  Of course Grandma and Grandpa (Cherie and Terry) must join in too.  Next in our group picture are Uncle Scott, Aunt Anne Marie and our third grandchild Samuel.  :-) So proud of you Brody!  I love my family. Sydni says she wants to do a video.  The Rainbow loom is hot now.  I think we will try a video with our Sydni showing us how to use it.  Be back soon.

Mixing Glitter with Embossing Powder

Hi everyone!  Love this clean and simple Christmas card!  With this technique the glitter doesn't rub off because you heat it into the embossing powder.  First ink your stamp with VersaMark, stamp, and put white embossing powder on top.  Heat with heat gun, while the image is still warm pour your glitter on top and heat again with the heat gun.
