More farmhouse Decor ๐ŸŽ ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ– ๐Ÿ„ ๐Ÿ‘

Love this decor, can you tell?!!  It is so DIY which makes it so affordable and no weeding!  Here are my current creations:

These are 5 1/2 x 6 " blocks of wood (Pine) that I painted and chalked.  I used our 'Mini Buffalo Plaid' transfer for the background in 'Bright White' chalk paste.  I used 'Black Velvet' chalk Paste on our 3" 'White Rounds' with the transfer 'Locally Grown'   ๐Ÿ‘€ at the links below ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป

My Mini Farmhouses!

Love them!  Love that they are so easy and fun!

So cute right?!  I was out in my workshop (actually it's my husbands workshop) cutting on my scroll saw.  I used 3/4" MDF & then painted with gray chalk paint (not to be confused with chalk paste).  I used Bright White Chalk Paste for the lettering and 'Welcome Trio' transfer for 3 of these houses. ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿปlinks for these products

Don't forget the squeegee which is our tool to apply the paste and ink!  ๐Ÿ˜

Baked Fresh Daily ๐Ÿคฃ

Yeah right‼️

Well, even if you don't bake fresh daily it sure does look great on the wall! That is my story and I am sticking to it!  ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿค“๐Ÿคช

This was very easy and fun to do.  I used Bark (a brown) chalk paste on this Chalk Couture reclaimed board.   So are you a baker?  or not?  I'm not, mostly I don't need all that baked goods around to tempt me  LOL ๐Ÿ˜‚ but I sure do like the sign on my wall!  Below are some links to these products:

My Buffalo๐Ÿƒ Plaid Hello Pillow ๐Ÿ˜‰

Now this is a very fun technique with a wow factor๐Ÿ˜ฎ‼️

That is done with Chalkology Ink in Bright White and Black Velvet.  Here are the steps:
1. Ink the 'Hello transfer and let it dry.  (I let it dry overnight, but you can speed it up using a heat gun. 2.  Now you will use two transfers (Mini Buffalo Plaid & Hello transfer again.)  Place the 'Mini Buffalo transfer over your black 'Hello'  Next place your 'Hello transfer over the buffalo plaid.  You can see through your transfers; line the hello transfer with the black hello on the pillow. 3.  Take your Bright White Ink and squeegee it on.  It will only go through the netting of your transfer. 4.  Peel and reveal‼️ 5. Wow, ๐Ÿ˜ฎ 6. I told you  ๐Ÿ˜‰❤️ 7.  Once everything is dry heat set it - IRON:  Use parchment paper and iron on non-steam cotton setting for 4 minutes on both inside and out. or HEAT PRESS:  Use parchment paper and put on 305degrees for 30 seconds on both the inside and out.
Show it off  ‼️

My Distressed Sign 'It's So Good To Be Home'

Ok, this turned out to be a happy accident‼️  My husband made the pallet sign and stained it for me.  After the fact, I decided to distress it.  So I put a light coat of white paint and distressed the edges.  When I pulled off the very sticky transfer it also pulled off more of the white paint.  Oh my...... I actually like it, what do you all think?  *As a side note, my husband said the next time you decide to distress a board let me know in advance, I won't worry about such a good stain job.  LOL  Can't say as I blame him.

My Farmhouse Sign! ๐Ÿ„ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ– ๐Ÿ“

My Farmhouse Sign:

Love it!  Another fast and easy one!  Everyone can get these results because of the netting in the silkscreen transfer.  Happy Dance ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐ŸŽถ
The colors I used were Black Velvet, Current Jam, Bark & Honeydew.

Here is the transfer I used to make this awesome sign:

Notice the wreath that takes the place of the O in HOUSE has three layers in it.  I only used two of them, so next time I use this transfer I will use the leaves. Reusable Transfer
You can make it all one word or break it down to two: FARM HOUSE -or- FARMHOUSE
Always fun to play!  Here is my how to Video

Correction:  In the video I noted that the chalk paste on the second layer of the wreath is Almond, but it is actually Honeydew.  That is one of things that is so fun about all of this, you can completely custom make everything!

Flying Lessons Anyone?!

It is so hot here so I am trying to imagine cooler weather!  Actually not too far away.  So cooler weather means fall with Halloween and Thanksgiving.  Get my train of thought?  LOL๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿคฃ
I love this transfer!  You could use all white and make this quick and easy.  I chose to use three colors:  Bright White, Daffodil, and Papaya.  Since chalk paste dries fairly fast I did it in steps:  cleaned and air dried in between each color.

A Sign For My Coffee Corner!

Love it!  Fast and easy!  Hey guys, anyone can do this.  The transfer (reusable transfer) does all the work for you.  All you have to do is chalk it.  Easy Peasy!

I enlarged this picture so you can see the distressing in the silk screen transfer.  I cannot imagine weeding this in vinyl!  See all the white dots and splotches in the lettering?  See, distress all done for you.  Yea!  Happy Dance ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐ŸŽถ

Memories of my 'Vintage Bug'!

I love my very first car!  I just replicated it....from my minds eyes from way back when....

Cutest car ever!  (I may have been a little biased)  This car just fit me so well, so as soon as I got a chance I tried to replicate it.  Chalk Couture helped me.  Here are the steps.

First they gave a new transfer 'Vintage Bug'

So, of course I bought it and chalked it.  Then I took it out to my scroll saw and cut it out.

Now, I chalked flowers all over (my inner flower child I guess) so it would look like my car from the early 70's.  Why you ask, because I could!  LOL  Then I used contact paper, now I used Chalk Couture!

No Hurries No Worries

Ok, so I have been wanting to chalk & play with this since I received it.  This little guy is so cute!

So what do you think?!  I love the words too.  Since I have retired from my 9 to 5 job this has become my motto.   This transfer has some small layers, but it does have registration marks to make it easier to line up.
I had a class & here are two ladies with their finished product.  (They both picked this guy to chalk)

My daughter and our good friend!

More Pumpkins....Yea!

Yes, I know it is July.  Sweltering heat - high 90's and I'm chalkin pumpkins!  Inside in the air conditioning!  So ready for fall.  Here is an example of what I have been working on:

Fun right?!  So easy, let me walk you through it.
First I cut these out on my scroll saw.   But wait, if you don't have a scroll saw or just don't want to cut it out, Chalk Couture has 1 " thick wood cut-outs for two of these pumpkins and transfers that match them!  Woo Hoo! ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป

Second I painted and waxed the wood cut outs!  Some with Neon acrylic paint!
What is next you ask? Chalking of course!

Getting all done and ready for Halloween!

Thanksgiving and Fall!

Combining two transfers today:  'Pinwheels' (our monthly June Subscription) & 'Floral Bouquet'

Love how this turned out, and I made the top ten in our art contest.  Woo Hoo!
The Pinwheels and Celebrate are from our June monthly subscription transfer.  This is an awesome program where you can get Happy Mail every month.  Yeah!  What is this?  It's a monthly subscription in which you will receive a 'B' size (8 1/2 x 11) silkscreen transfer and 3 individual chalk pastes.  It is only $19.99 + tax/a month and FREE SHIPPING!  check it out here:

The other transfer I used is 'Floral Bouquet'

Pumpkins In July

I have two different designs to show you today on one pumpkin That I cut out on my scroll saw!

All ready for Halloween!  Here are the steps I took:

After I cut this out on my scroll saw, I painted with chalk paint.  Then I used our transfer 'Houndstooth' with Shimmer Gold chalk paste.

Then I sanded to distress the design.
This is the transfer that I used 'Houndstooth'   Then I just decorated it with our Font  transfer for the 'BOO!' and ghosts.  So fun

Now I wanted something more for fall and thanksgiving so:

I did this by going over the orange painted pumpkin with a white wash to give it dimension.  Then..........

I used this awesome transfer 'Modern Floral' and chalked it with Papaya chalk paste.

So which one do you like?

My how to video!

And if you don't have a scroll saw to cut this out, check out Chalk Couture, it has some cut-outs of pumpkins and Trees.  They are 1" thick wood.  Keep watching......
