Changing Up My Lazy Susan

Well, it's time to change my Lazy Susan.  This is an old wooden lazy susan that I have repurposed with black chalk paint (not to be mixed up with Chalk paste or ink) and then a little natural wax, I use Minwax. Wipe on, wipe off. (LOL from Karate Kid). I keep changing up the designs using different silkscreen transfer and chalk paste from Chalk Couture.  I love that I can do this, it fun to try and decide what to do with it next.  This is what I did: I used two transfers:  Vintage Laurel Wreath & 'C' Monogram (We have a transfer for every letter in the alphabet + the & sign).  I used Gold Shimmer paste (this is new!) and two colors of green:  Garden Herb and one that I mixed myself.  Watch the video to see how I did it.  🎨 👀 I always try to set aside some time to play and decorate my house at the same time!  It's a win, win! My Super Heros 🦸🏼‍♂️ 🦹‍♂️ 🦸🏼‍♂️ 🦹‍♂️ 🦸‍♀️

My young Super Heros! We will be traveling soon to visit three of my super heros so I made them some shirts. Love how these turned out.  I used the following inks:  Bumblebee, Candy Apple Red, Black Velvet, Bright White, Gold Shimmer, Midnight Sky, Papaya & Regal. After the ink is dry you can heat set this with parchment paper and a medium non-steam iron for 4 minutes front and back.  You can also use an Easy Press if you have one.  Now it is permanent!🌟💛 Three of my super heroes  🦸‍♀️🦸‍♀️🦸🏼‍♂️ And my how to video: Are you curious to check out Chalk Couture?  Just click the link below my bitmoji!  🙋🏻‍♀️ https://linktr.ee/cherielyne https://www.chalkcouture.com/cheriecriswell/

Well.....I'm Procraftinating Again! Learn A New Technique

Well here I am pro craft inating again!!  Just can't help it.  I was blessed with crafty parents!  Dad was great with woodworking and mom loved to sew.  Mom, Toni and I went to ceramic classes which we all enjoyed!  So a lot of this love for crafts was handed down to me.  I am so lucky! Here is my latest sign...this time actually on chalkboard. I used Chalk Paste in Bumblebee, storm and bright white.  I also tried a technique I call 'Chalk & Pull' for the first time.  I will definitely try that again! Take a look: See that eagle?  My mom made that for me in ceramics! Ok, so far I have used this transfer 3 different times and 3 different surfaces!  Wood, fabric & chalkboard.  This just keeps going & going.  Lot of life left to do many more. Changing Up My Vintage Truck From St. Patricks Day To Easter!

I just chalked up some of my Vintage Truck add ons and then cut out on my scroll saw!  Easy to do & did I say fun to do?! A picture tutorial: Taking off the four leaf clovers.... After I chalked and cut out with scroll saw I put these small magnets on the back. And since this is one of Chalk Couture's magnetic boards, it's eazy peazy to change it up.  😉😍 And now I am already for the coming holidays! 😀 ✞ If you would like to look further into Chalk Couture, just click the link below my bitmoji.  https://www.chalkcouture.com/cheriecriswell/ https://linktr.ee/cherielyne
