Updating, Refreshing & Chalking....Oh My!

I recently had my dining room updated & refreshed.  I did the chalking πŸ‘©‍🎨
Together we updated my old dining room into a modern farmhouse decor.  I am loving it 😍  I hired Veronica from Pish Posh to repaint my old china hutch.  We took off the top doors, and then I chalked them.❣️
Since I did not do a video on this whole process, I will show you a series of pictures.

This is what we started with:

It was sanded, painted and lightly distressed.

Afterwards I chalked the glass on the doors.

This is the transfer I used:
Heaven

I also used Pesto Chalk Paste (which you can find in my online shop, link below) which I chalked on the wrong side so that I could clean the glass without removing the paste.

I should show you 2 more pictures....My finished hutch and another view of my doors on the wall  πŸ˜‰

I am so happy with my new updated, refreshed and chalked farmhouse decor❣️  Trying to blend the old with the new.  How do you think I did?

  1. Fabulous work Cherie. I love the chalking work done by you to the top dining doors. The finished hutch looks classic. Pesto Chalk Paste seems to be an ideal material for chalking.
